  1. Later, Vivekanand and Mahatma Gandhi took the philosophy of “Satya Sarthak Sarvatha” to gain freedom from attachment and fear.

  2. Thanks a lot I’ve been searching these lyrics since I watched the entire serie in one month. The music is really great and the story is … the best epic ever written , the Iliad , the Odyssey and the Aeneid are tell for children next to the Mahabharata. I had never seen something so much philosophical and permeated of human nature in video. Karna the generous is the best character, such a painful life and he stay with Duryodhan until the end.

  3. I liked the explanation of “Title Song Lyrics from the TV Series Mahabharat (Hindu Epic)” very much. Thanks !

  10. Could you guys let me know where I can watch or buy this whole series with English subtitles? It will be great if I can.

  11. Complete meaning of Mahabharat in single shlok
    “Katha hai purusharth yeh ki
    Swarth ki parmarth ki”

  12. Great translation. Only change I’d suggest – instead of ‘religion’ make it ‘dharma’ in the last para. Its not establishment of a religion but of dharma that Krishna manifests. Dharma is a sanskrit non-translatable and closely means right action/righteousness plus duty based one’s station in life. Different from the concept of religion such as christianity or islam.

  13. It is the best TV serial forever. I want to salute to the honourable TV producer B. R. chopra. I pray to God to give long life to actors and him. I appeal to every human to see and learn from the epic Mahabharat to build a peaceful life.

  14. Hi thanks for the lyrics although for your information the title track is been written by Pandit Narendra Sharma who is renowned musician, lyricist and is responsible for the tulsi ramayan sung by mukesh available on saregama records.
